A Photographer’s Legacy Continues – Lecture

The Photograph Society of Philadelphia (Now a proud member myself), asked me if I would provide an hour lecture on July 18, 2018, at The Plastic Club. Naturally, I chose to talk about Joe Chielli, founder of Church Street Studios and continuing his legacy through my photography. The description read as the following:

‘In the world of business and photography, longevity and competency are uniquely related. That idea was exemplified by one longtime Philadelphia photographer, who revealed the secrets of his craft to one eager mentee. Church Street Studios was founded in 1987. But his legacy continues because Joe painstakingly trained and passed on all his unique knowledge to Kristine Di Grigoli. Today, Kristine (founder/owner of ArtChick Photography) continues Joe’s legacy by maintaining his standard of high-quality work, while preserving his company’s ethics and professionalism.

Lovely email after the lecture I gave!

“Dear Kristine,

On behalf of the Photographic Society of Philadelphia, I wanted to extend my sincere thanks for a truly successful and informative evening as our presenter at the Plastic Club on Tuesday, July 17th.

Our members were enthralled with your vivacious demeanor and extensive experience in multiple photographic venues. It was also interesting to learn about your strong connections with local artisans and businesses in the region.

I am truly excited about future collaboration with you and workshop events involving ArtChick Photography and the Photo Society.

Warm Regards,

Eileen Eckstein
